What is a Mitsubishi Muster?
|
The Mitsubishi Muster will be a social gathering for Mitsubishi 4WD Club
members and Mitsubishi 4WD owners
|

How much does it cost and what do I get for it?
|
There is a vehicle registration fee of $20
Camping fees are
$35 per adult ($70 for a couple) for 3 nights
Children $10 for 3 nights
$90 per family (2 + 2) for 3 nights
Property access, campsite, showers, toilets, wood for fires, rubbish
collection, activities
Additional night FREE

Why is the price more than the scheduled fee, as published on the
Turlee website ?
|
Turlee have given us exclusive use of their property for the Muster
They are also organising additional toilets, providing additional
toilet paper and cleaning services, allowing you to stay an additional day FREE,
performing rubbish collection so the sites are clean and tidy. They’re
looking after us !

|
96 km NE from Mildura city centre and 115 km from Balranald 214 km
from Ivanhoe

How do I book ?
|
Select the link from the website

Registration forms can be completed and submitted online (email) or
you can print and send to P.O. Box 117, Mitcham, 3132, Victoria
Payments by direct deposit, cheque/money order/credit card.

What’s the cut off for bookings
|
Last bookings will be taken on 20th March (2 weeks before
the event).
|

Where’s the last spot to get fuel?
|
Mildura and Balranald
|
|

Do I need to bring spare fuel?
|
Yes, you may need to have spare fuel as there is none avail on site
Recommend at least one 20 litre jerry can. It’s your responsibility
to work out how much additional fuel you’ll need to get in and out and
perform the various activities.

What tyre pressures should I be running ?
|
This will vary according to vehicle but on leaving the bitumen drop
to the off road pressure you usually run at.

Can I have a fire?
|
Yes but it will need to be carefully monitored
Fire places will be shared and marked out

Do I need to bring wood?
|
Wood will be supplied

Do I need to bring water?
|
Yes, everybody will need to bring their own water. Water is
available on site but if everybody brings some we won’t run out. Remember
it is not town water but artesian.

Is there a kiosk where I can buy some ice creams?
|
No, sorry, it’s a working station not a milk bar
|

Can I buy a meal?
|
Yes, the owners of the property are offering to do breakfast on
Saturday morning for $10 per adult, $6 per child under 16 and under 3 free.
They will also offer a 2 course meal on Sunday night for $25 per adult, $15
per child under 16 and under 3 free – two sittings - 6pm (families with
children), 8pm (second sitting)
NO BYO to the dinner – fully licensed beer and wine for sale on the
night

What if I want to come earlier or stay later and if so what will it
cost?
|
The price includes 3 nights camping. Turlee have offered an
additional night FREE.
If you would like to stay on for longer it is $8 per person per
night or $25 per family per night.

What toilet facilities are available ?
|
Yes, there are 2 toilets and there will be an extra 6 portable
toilets brought in for the event. If you have your own camping toilet, feel
free to bring it.

Can I have a shower?
|
Yes there are only hot 2 showers. If you have your own shower then
it might pay to bring it to save on waiting times.

Can I get a latte?
|
No, sorry, it’s a working station

Can I buy a beer?
|
Yes, the owners have a liquor license and can sell local wines and
beer – beer @ $3 can

Can I bring my dog?
|
No, sorry ! ABSOLUTELY NO ANIMALS permitted due to the
number of children who will be present. So don’t bring the dog, the cat,
the budgie !!

Do I have to do all or any of the planned activities?
|
No, all activities are optional

What if I’m a member of a Mitsubishi focused club but don’t own a

All members of Mitsubishi 4WD clubs are welcome, eg Pajero Club,
Triple Diamond, Mitsubishi Club of SA, Delica, etc

What if I own a Mitsubishi 4WD but my friends or family don’t, can
they still come?

What can I expect to see at the property?
|
The property is a working sheep and wheat station so we can see how
things work on a station plus Mungo Nat park is only 32km away
|

Can I get a non off road caravan into the site?
|
Yes, the roads to the property can be a little rough but the
property has easy access
|

Can I get an AWD vehicle or smaller 4WD in?
|
Yes. You should even be able to get 2WD in but most activities are
4WD oriented

What activities are planned?
|
25 point navigation challenges, day trips to Mungo National Park,
Easter egg hunt, motorkhana, boundary rider trips and much, much more –

If I want to go to Mungo National Park for a look, how far is it?
|
Mungo National Park is only 32km away. There is a
fee of $7.50 (cash only in envelopes) per car and tours are self guided (4
to 4 1/2 hours round trip including stops)

Is there a common BBQ area and do I need to bring everything?
|
There is no common BBQ area, and yes you will need to bring
everything

What is the temperature likely to be?
|
Temp should be mid to high 20’s during the day but can get quite
cold at night

|
Providing it doesn’t rain too much we should be OK

|
From Mildura its 77km, from Balranald its 66km, and from Ivanhoe
it’s about 60km

Yes, but they need to be used with other campers in mind

|

|
Areas will be allocated and a mud map will be circulated upon
